Hello, all! 

My name is Danya Lira. After graduating high school, I became an AVID tutor at most of the VISD middle school campuses. After a while, I needed a more steady job, so I became a paraprofessional at East High School in the ESL department and worked with all high school aged kids. I loved my job so much that I ended up staying there for six years while I continued my college education. After graduation, I taught 5th grade reading and social studies for 3 years. I am currently starting my second year in 1st grade! This year has been my favorite so far. I love to see my students grow and have fun, and I have been blessed with the sweetest group of kids year after year.
