The VISD Multilingual Department is excited to announce the upcoming Dual Language Parent Information Sessions for current VISD Pre-K and incoming Kinder parents and guardians. These sessions offer a unique opportunity to explore the enriching Dual Language Program at Crain Elementary for the 2024-25 school year.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to mark their calendars for three informative sessions in April:
O'Connor Elementary:
Date: Tuesday, April 2nd
Time: 9-10 a.m. or 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Chandler Elementary:
Date: Thursday, April 18th
Time: 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
These sessions aim to provide valuable insights into the benefits and structure of the Two-Way Dual Language Program, allowing families to make informed decisions about their child's educational pathway. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about language immersion, cultural awareness, and the long-term advantages of bilingualism while having the opportunity to register since limited seats are available.
