The Victoria ISD Board of Trustees recognized participants of the third cohort of the VISD Insider Academy during the February regular monthly board meeting for completing the program.
The VISD Insider Academy provides community members with an inside look at district operations, leadership and long-term priorities. Throughout the program, participants attended a series of sessions focused on governance, teaching and learning, finance and operations, and community engagement. Sessions included presentations from district leaders, opportunities for discussion and questions.

The academy also included campus-based meeting locations and guided tours, allowing participants to observe school facilities and gain a deeper understanding of how district facilities operate.
The program is designed to strengthen transparency and partnership between Victoria ISD and the community by helping participants better understand how decisions are made and how public education operates at the district level.
Victoria ISD plans to continue offering the Insider Academy as part of its ongoing effort to engage and inform the community.
